New Superintendent will oversee operations at Lake McClure Boatyard

Twin Lake Management Company (TLMC) has hired Jason Munoz as its Boatyard Superintendent at Lake McClure.

He began on Tuesday, October 19, 2021.

“Jason brings over 17 years of experience to TLMC, the Boat Yard and our recreation at Lake McClure,” said Vic Moreno, Chief Operations Officer for TLMC.

Jason is currently a resident of Snelling, CA.

As the Boatyard Superintendent, Jason will oversee operations related to maintenance, repairs, construction, and customer service for houseboat permit holders.

Jason’s experience includes a host of skills and knowledge, including fabrication, pontoon assembly, framing, transportation and safety management. He worked for nearly a decade in a variety of key roles at Emerald Bay Houseboats supporting recreation on Lake Oroville. He additionally will bring his sales and business management expertise to TLMC.

“I’m excited to be taking on this new assignment,” he said. “I’ve been doing this for some time now and I can’t think of a better location or community than here at Lake McClure.”

In addition to the Boatyard Superintendent, operations are carried out by the Boatyard Technicians and an additional Mooring crew who maintain the houseboats out on the water.

Twin Lakes Managemant Company was founded in 2011 to operate as the concessionare for Lake McClure Marina, houseboat moorings, and the boatyard at McClure Point. 

There are currently three Mooring Technicians who care for the houseboat mooring and marina infrastructure.  Their duties include maintenance, repairs, construction, mobile pump-out service, and customer service to the houseboat permit holders and other lake visitors. 

The Boatyard has six Technicians, one Boatyard Supervisor, and one Administrative Aide who repair, remodel, and build houseboats, as well as provide necessary services to Merced Irrigation District as requested. 

Our administration office consists of a Bookkeeper and the Chief Operations Officer who work behind the scenes to assures the operation runs smoothly and efficiently.  We are always here to assist you with your questions and any concerns you may have.
